Tim McDermott '95, Senior Vice President/Chief Marketing Officer, Philadelphia Eagles
Tim McDermott returned to the Eagles in 2010 as the club's senior vice president/chief marketing officer. It is McDermott's second stint in the Eagles hierarchy for the Lansdale, Pa. native, who grew up rooting for his hometown football squad. From 2004-06, McDermott served as the team's senior director of marketing.
McDermott is responsible for strategizing and managing all marketing, advertising, merchandising, digital media, broadcasting and brand extension efforts for the Eagles.
Ari Roitman '98, Senior Vice President/Business, Philadelphia Eagles
Ari Roitman joined the Philadelphia Eagles in December 2010 as the Senior Vice President of Business. In his role, Roitman oversees revenue generation for the Eagles across key business areas such as Corporate Partnerships and Premium Sales and directs the team’s strategies tied to the monetization of its media assets.
Prior to his time with the Eagles, Roitman spent nine years at Major League Baseball’s corporate officers in Manhattan starting as an Account Executive in 2001 and advancing to serve as Vice President of Corporate Sales and Marketing for his final two years with the league. A 1998 graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Psychology, Roitman worked for three years at SFX Sports Group before his tenure with Major League Baseball.
Michael P. Hoffmann, Associate Dean, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences; Director, Cornell University Agricultural Experiment Station
Michael P. Hoffmann is the director of the Cornell University Agricultural Experiment Station at Ithaca and an associate dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. As associate dean, he contributes to strategic planning and represents the College to various state and regional organizations. As director, he oversees the allocation of federal formula funds for applied research and ensures that these resources are used to address the needs of stakeholders in New York State. He also oversees the College's farms and plant growth facilities associated with the main campus and across the state. His major area of interest is sustainability with particular emphasis on global warming, renewable energy, and the fostering of leadership among staff and the College faculty. Prior to his current position he was associate director of Cornell Cooperative Extension for Agriculture and Food Systems (2003-2005) and director of the New York State Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Program (1999-2006). He is a professor in the Department of Entomology and maintains a research program focused on IPM strategies for vegetable crops. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University Wisconsin, Masters from the University of Arizona and PhD from the University of California, Davis.
