Rhonda Carniol counsels entities in all aspects of media, advertising, technology, corporate and computer law. Her clients include multinational publicly traded companies, advertising agencies, software companies, data and media providers, and start-up ventures. She is the author of many articles on subjects ranging from outsourcing and privacy issues to financing and Internet topics. Her articles have appeared in a wide range of legal and trade publications including the National Law Journal, Metropolitan Corporate Counsel, E-Commerce Law Report, Cyberspace Lawyer, the Health Care Strategic Management Newsletter and New Jersey TechNews. Rhonda, who has an AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, received her J.D. from Emory University School of Law where she was the writing editor of the Emory Law Journal and a member of the Order of the Coif. Linda Drabik '98 Independent Advisor, Kaltura
Linda’s background in technology spans tech consulting, business development, interactive marketing, and operations roles in the Bay Area and New York. She learned the basics of coding and full life cycle development to begin her career in Silicon Valley, serving in developer, solutions architect, and project management functions in enterprise software and consumer internet startups. She later held marketing and digital roles at American Express and Starwood Hotels. Linda led the go-to-market business development function at the open source/SaaS online video platform, Kaltura, where she currently serves as an advisor. Based in New York, she has advised early stage startups and media companies and is a strong believer in the importance of product, backed by a flexible team that measures and learns, releases often, and continually evolves the user experience. Linda El-Fakir (Human Ecology ’84, MBA '86) is President of The Big Idea Factory, a NJ based consulting firm specializing in new product development, licensing, marketing strategy, and Asian sourcing/production facilitation for small to mid-sized companies. Linda studied Interior and Product Design at Cornell prior to completing her MBA, and following graduation from The Johnson School, spent seven years in CPG product management and new product development at L&F Products division of Eastman-Kodak and Colgate-Palmolive. Linda then discovered the toy and children's products industry and founded her own toy company. After selling Elf Children’s Products, Linda held the positions of Vice President, Marketing for Pentech International and Rose Art Industries, and then Vice President, Division Manager at FAB/Starpoint, all leading makers of children's stationery, arts and crafts, and toys.
